The Food Bank of Greenwood County greatly appreciates the amazing contributions of our friends, volunteers and partners in our mission of addressing food insecurity in Greenwood County.
If you would like to be involved with the Food Bank of Greenwood County, here are some ways:
Volunteer. Our volunteers help us to meet the needs of our clients. Volunteers serve in a number of ways including distribution, warehouse work and picking up donations. If you are interested in giving your time as a volunteer, read more about it by clicking here.
Food donation. The Food Bank happily accepts donations of canned food, produce, etc. These donations help us to be able to help our clients. Food donations may be delivered to the Food Bank on Mondays through Thursdays between 10 AM and 3 PM. If you are making a large donation of food, we can arrange for pick up at your site as we are available.
Monetary donation. When you make a monetary donation, we pool it with other donations and stretch your gift even farther by buying food in bulk. In addition, your monetary donations assist us in meeting the needs of our programs. If you wish to make a monetary donation, click here for more details.
